Highlights for each notarized Apple Silicon build, newest first.
Hvelv 0.3.0
- Hvelv now has a command line. `hvelv` ships inside the app and installs itself from Settings, giving you disk headroom, scans, cleanup previews, runway estimates, history, and status for free, plus worktrees, encrypted archives, schedules, and license and MCP setup with Hvelv+ — all without opening the window. A mark greets you at a wide terminal, and every list renders in one consistent table style.
- Every command speaks JSON. `--json` returns the same model the desktop receives, with stable exit codes and a `hvelv schema` catalogue, so a coding agent can read and plan against Hvelv directly.
- The command line cannot delete on its own. Cleanup waits for you to type `yes` at a terminal, and worktree removal and archive requests still wait for your approval in the app.
- Installing the command line writes a small shim, and Hvelv will never overwrite anything at that path it did not write itself — your own script or alias there is left alone.
- Sizes read identically everywhere. The terminal and the window round bytes the same way, checked against one shared table.
- Safety now keeps a running record of consequential manual actions — cache cleanups, worktree cache clears and removals, completed archives, OpenCode rotations, and evidence-store rotations — visible on the Safety screen and in `hvelv history`. A preview or a request that is still waiting for your approval is not recorded; only what actually ran.
- Settings has a rotating diagnostic log under ~/Library/Logs/Hvelv with an Open logs button, so a problem is easier to describe and easier to fix.
- The desktop, the MCP server, and the command line now run one shared core, and the contract between the app and that core is generated instead of hand-written, so all three stay in step.
Hvelv 0.2.1
- Every storage row opens a detail sheet with the path, size, safety class, which process holds a lock, and only the actions that apply.
- git-ai telemetry and checkpoints, Codex diagnostic logs, and Codex session history are measured as approval-only evidence. Telemetry and logs can be rotated with the tool stopped.
- Large hidden stores under your home that the catalog does not cover appear as evidence with Reveal in Finder, never as cleanup.
- Scans no longer ask Keychain each time, and agent resource snapshots are cached briefly.
Hvelv 0.2.0
- The Overview measures cache directories in parallel, and scheduled maintenance reuses its pre-cleanup scan instead of walking your disk twice.
- Hvelv opens with your last scan and refreshes itself after every scheduled maintenance run.
- Worktree removal and cache review see agent session evidence for the selected copy. Session-referenced copies require typed confirmation.
- Hvelv+ offline grace now ends after 30 days as documented, and symlinked cache paths never qualify for automatic cleanup.
- The website shows the current version and the full changelog.
Hvelv 0.1.5
- Worktree cache and removal review measure the copies you selected, instead of showing 0 B from a faster classify.
- Overview reclaimable includes inactive node_modules, target, .next, and .turbo in linked worktrees.
- Claude archives and restores through the same harness path as Codex. OpenCode restore never replaces the live database. Quit matches the harness process name exactly.
Hvelv 0.1.4
- Worktree removal and cache review show the ledger size instead of 0 B.
- Claude worktrees show Claude as the harness even when no live process is attached, and session counts come from the local project jsonl when present.
- License details shows this Mac's Hvelv+ key, activations, and offline grace instead of the purchase sheet.
Hvelv 0.1.3
- Cleanup success names the bytes you approved, even when APFS reports 0 B right after a Cargo registry clear.
- Worktree review no longer rescans every copy. Removal can override protection if you type the copy’s name.
- Select several worktrees at once. Notifications dismiss on click, and the tray closes when you click away.
Hvelv 0.1.2
- What's new is in Settings, with notes for this Mac and for a signed update before you install it.
- Get Hvelv+ opens the Hvelv+ product page instead of the Gumroad homepage.
- Agent Runway no longer holds new workloads just because a large disk is under 15% free.
- Hvelv+ is enforced on this Mac for schedules, encrypted archive, worktree actions, and MCP enable.
Hvelv 0.1.1
- Purchase and runway fixes shipped in the signed 0.1.1 channel.
- Swap and compressor memory lower confidence instead of zeroing suggested agents.
Hvelv 0.1.0
- First signed and notarized Apple Silicon release.
- Local scan, safety locks, and manual cleanup of inactive caches stay free.
